enodia_gpsl | ⚡️ The Plane Crash

JANUARY 12

At approximately 9:25AM, a small prop plane glances off Enodia Station’s dome and crashes into the Riftlands. A team of Explorers is dispatched within fifteen minutes to head to the crash site. When they arrive, they find the pilot unconscious in the cockpit. The plane has no manifest or documentation, and the tail detached in the crash, making identifying the aircraft difficult. Additionally, one of the rescue parachutes is missing. Half the Explorer team returns to Enodia with the pilot, and the other half stays behind to look for the tail of the plane and the potential passenger who may have bailed mid-crash, although they ultimately locate neither.

At approximately 10:45AM, Explorers return with the unconscious pilot, a man of approximately forty years wearing the standard issue uniform of a Terminus Station employee, with a patch on the sleeve of the flag of the Netherlands. Medical and Research employees determine that he is emitting the same novel rift radiation observed in Ernestine over the summer. It is currently 4:45AM on Saturday at Terminus Station, and any communication requests to Dr. Veda Clarke will not be answered for another four hours or so.

At approximately 5PM, Dr. Clarke responds to any communication requests; Terminus is missing no aircraft or personnel, but their twin rifts have been acting up for the past couple of weeks.

JANUARY 13

Exploration Leaders are tasked with organizing search parties to sweep the Riftlands in attempts to locate the missing passenger and the tail of the plane.

JANUARY 14

When station residents wake today, they’ll find they have a gap in their memories. For a six hour period from approximately midnight until 6AM, nobody can remember where they were or what they were doing. Security footage and data readings from this period are also scrambled nonsense.

Additionally, the pilot and anything recovered from the aircraft have vanished. Investigating the crash site will find the surrounding Riftlands untouched and the body of the plane missing as well.

Just leave a comment with the names of the player characters who are going in your group! I will assume each group has a handful of NPCs with them as well.

In general, any time I list an entire division on these PCals/FRs, you can feel free to assume your character in that division is involved in whatever is going on.

Also, I'm going to say leadership evaluations for this period happened off-screen, so the previous group of leaders are no longer necessarily in leadership roles. However, if you want your explorer character to be a leader for the runtime of this plot, just drop me a comment here and they can be!

also I am down to do scenes or whatever for any of the days for this event just hmu I will have more thoughts... later

Also hi i'm way snowed in but that means The Girl will be in research for the duration w/ devotion to this issue because of its links to Ernestine! I would luv to do threads if wanted! I wonder if I should invent a second person just for to be an explorer in this gpsl im pondering anyway

OFFICIALLY: Crysta would love to do a search party with whoever wants. She can, newly, explode rift monsters or things like traps in the natural environment made of organic material with her brain giving her exactly one useful thing to do yay

crysta should not be forced to suffer her older brother in the riftlands but... if u want...

I have it in my head now that part of the Waldinger Pathology (tm) is maybe neither of them will ever let the other go into the riftlands w/o insisting on tagging so let's keep that tradition
